   Back up – and re-phrase your thought/question. If you have been separated for a year & there are some things that you "think" can be worked out, with the right counselor, please, do not look for solely a Christian counselor. I am a devout Christian, I have been thru Christian marrital counselling and it was until I was divirced that I found a really good counselor, told him I was Christian & my vaues that he also dug into that & made sure what was behind that door form an objective point of view. What I am saying is, if you have a good one, really good counselor, ask them if they have experience in divorce, separation, personally and also that you are Christian & what they think about that. You can call & interview as you go. You will know whom God has sent you to the moment you talk. There is a comfortability level that you both need, but objectivity to get thru the reality of really bad problems that a hard-core Marriage Counselor can get to….the Christian Counselor we had, I feel we were both embarrased to share soem really hard things that effected out early marriage and eventually ended it. My 25cents -
